Providers

Emmy Weathers, MSW, LCSW, Program Manager & Clinician

Emmy earned her Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Biology from the College of Idaho and went on to be a graduate of the University of Maryland, Baltimore School of Social Work program where she received her Master in Social Work degree. She is currently licensed in the State of Idaho as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

As a licensed Social Worker since 2007, Emmy has practiced with an Employee Assistance Program company located in Baltimore, Maryland, worked in an outpatient behavioral health practice and in a community-based detox and mental health facility. She has experience in individual counseling and group counseling.  

Emmy’s approach incorporates the following evidence-based techniques in her sessions: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Solutions Focused Therapy, and strengths-based counseling. Emmy focuses the therapy sessions based upon your individual needs and preferences.


Dr. Coire Weathers, MD, Medical Director & Psychiatrist

Dr. Weathers was born and raised in Boise, Idaho. He grew up in the north end, attended Boise High, and went to Boise State games with his dad. Throughout high school and college Dr. Weathers actively volunteered with Big Brothers Big Sisters, Boo at the Zoo, and took every opportunity he could to help those in need. Dr. Weathers attended The College of Idaho In Caldwell, Idaho before being admitted to the University of Maryland School of Medicine. During his residency he served as the Chief Resident at Sheppard Pratt Hospital. As a Boise native, Dr. Weathers always knew he wanted to return to help the community that helped raise him. It was always Dr. Weathers’ dream to open his own clinic, one named specifically after a place near and dear to his family. Lost River Wellness is the outcome of that dream.

Dr. Weathers currently holds the following positions:

  • Adult Unit Director, St. Alphonsus Behavioral Health Inpatient Unit
  • Panel Member, ECHO Idaho Opioid Addiction and Treatment
  • Leader/Panel Member, ECHO Idaho Behavioral Health
  • Provider and Part Owner, Sage Healthcare

Kathleen Mack, ARNP, Nurse Practitioner

Kathy graduated from Washington State University in 2007 with her degree in nursing.

Her experience in mental health began while working in Yakima, Washington at a local clinic there. She moved to Utah shortly after and opened a mental health clinic with her daughter 35 miles west of Salt Lake City. Kathy recently relocated to Fruitland, Idaho and is actively taking new patient referrals.

In her off time, Kathy enjoys camping and kayaking with her family, as well as traveling.


Shawn Jensen, LCPC, Clinical Supervisor and Clinician

Shawn graduated with a Master of Education from Northwest Nazarene University in 2001 and became a Licensed Clinician Professional Counselor in 2005.

Her approach in therapy includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Shawn is an experienced clinician in the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of mental health issues, including addiction.

In her off time, Shawn enjoys camping and spending time with her family.


Rachel Dearing, LPC, Clinician

Rachel graduated with her Masters of Science in Counseling, with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2016, from University of Phoenix. She’s been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2021 and has been working on mental health for the past four years.

Rachel in passionate her work with clients and takes a strengths-based approach to care. She loves working with individuals from a variety of backgrounds.

In her off time, Rachel enjoys spending time with her family reading, and craft projects.
